I've been working on this overhaul of Single Sentence Movie Review for many months now. So I asked myself this week why it's taking so long to make it a reality. Is it really that complex? No. Is it that I don't have any passion about the project? Definitely not. (As simple and trivial as this whole idea is, I'm disproportionately proud of it.)
So it finally came down to me accepting that I have been busy lately, and that's the only reason this is taking so long. I've avoided considering that as an excuse because it's always so unsatisfying to hear from the creative personalities that I look to for entertainment on the Internet. Of course I want these people to have lives and families and commitments outside of their web sites... I just don't want those things to delay the gratification I receive from my favorite sites.
Scott, I feel like hypocrit now for ever muttering when a PVP strip was a day late. Trudy, please take however much time you need to keep Platinum Grit moving in the direction it's going.
In the meantime, I'm going to hunker down and try to get my own house in order.
